 I will be going over making money with Instagram influencers in 2020 whether it be for drop shipping or affiliate marketing now the reason why I'm making this article is I've seen a lot of YouTubers talking about making money using Instagram influencers and they're just like oh I made x amount of money with this influencer and what I want to talk about is does it still work in 2020.

So with that said let's get after it and let's get growing so bro I'm not gonna lie but my mom came up from Jamaica and she made some steel for me and that shit was fire and it was so nostalgic like it was like sitting on a Sunday day on the veranda eating some food with that cool ocean breeze hitting you in the face cool like a cucumber nice and easy but that's beside the point this ain't about no damn but this is about some Instagram influencers.

First things first if you're gonna use an Instagram influencer you first gotta know what an Instagram influencer actually is now I know this might sound crazy but an Instagram influencer is someone who actually has influence over their followers and I know what you're saying duh but a lot of you guys think. 


You know what an Instagram influencer is but you don't a lot of you guys think a theme page is an Instagram influencer and this is kind of a common misconception now some theme pages can be influencers but the vast majority are not and this is why so an Instagram influencer has to have influence over their audience but a lot of theme pages they don't because if you follow a theme page you probably don't care what the hell they have to offer other than their content. 


You probably don't care what they're promoting you probably don't care what they're doing and you probably don't care who's running the damn page so this is why I'm saying an Instagram influencer is someone who actually has influence over their audience usually I'm talking about like a personal brand an account who actually has a face behind their brand. 


So how did Instagram influencers used to work back in the day so back in the day when people are looking for Instagram influencer they would just find a large page a theme page or a meme page pay them to post either a picture or a video and that would convert like crazy now theme pages used to work well but nowadays. 


They don't work so good just because a lot of people are watching youtube right and a lot of people are finding out about promoting using theme pages and because of this there's like a shit ton of people on Instagram paying for shout outs and at this point, the followers are well aware of what's going on they know exactly when a theme page is posting a promo and at this point, they're kind of immune to it like as soon as they see it. 


They know it's a promo and they don't even look at it if their followers paid for something from one of those promos and it didn't go as planned in the past the chances of them buying another promotional product from them are close to zero so how do you fix this problem well first you gotta know what type of theme page you gotta go for if you're using a theme page now usually when you're looking for a theme page to promote a product or a service. 


Whether it be for drop shipping or affiliate marketing you have to go with theme pages with a large audience I'm talking about anywhere from 300 000 to even a million now these theme pages are a little bit more expensive but usually, you can make your money back but don't just focus on their followers and the reason why is because like I said before just because someone has a large following that doesn't mean.

They are an Instagram influencer who see an influencer actually can influence people into buying a product with a theme page what you're really doing is you're putting your product in front of as many people as possible hoping some of them will convert which if you're working with a personal brand.

What you do is you would send them a product and they would just show it off and their followers are going to be more inclined to purchase it because they're like oh so-and-so is using you say the influencer name is himahita might their followers are going to be like oh hitoma hit him is using this so it must be good because they trust him. 


I hit him with a theme page most people don't trust theme page because they know it's probably like a 12-year-old running it and well not really 12 years old but you know we don't really know who's running it so the trust isn't really there make sure that they're not using an engagement group so make sure their posts you see a ton of engagement but you have to check and make sure that they're not using an engagement group and how can you tell if you go in their comment section and there's a bunch of other theme pages then obviously. 


It's an engagement group and makes sure that they're not deleting their posts that don't perform as well because a lot of pages do this to where they post every day but whenever they do a post and that post doesn't perform as well they usually delete it so when people like you try to buy a promo they go on the page and assume that every post that they do does well so make sure that you're checking the time stamp under the article to make sure that you're not getting finessed another thing make sure that you know that you're not targeting their followers. 


What you're doing is trying to hit the explore page and try to advertise to other people on Instagram because like I said their followers at this point are probably immune to their promo and probably don't give a shit about what they have to promote so what you want to do is you want to make sure that your promo is engaging and that it gets to the explore page and other people can see it so when other people see they click on the Instagram account after they click on the Instagram account. 


They see a good amount of followers remember they don't know the theme page yet they haven't had any experience with them so they look on it they see a ton of followers and they assume okay this is a reputable page let me click the link and then boom that's where your product page or your landing page is gonna have to do the work and convert them so how are most people using Instagram influencer nowadays. 


Well, most people nowadays when I say most people not necessarily most people but people who are actually making money off of instagram how they're doing it nowadays is they've moved on to real people real influencers that actually have a real impact on their audience and what they usually do is sometimes they use native advertisement. 


So let me see native advertisement is basically like saying I have this lens right here and I say hey if you want a wide-angle lens this is the lens I use okay this is a canon efs 10 to 18 millimeters it gives you wide shots that's how I get my wide shots link is in the description if you happen to care and basically a native advertisement. 


It's a less aggressive approach to where you're not telling anybody to go buy it what you're telling them is this is what you use and if you're curious of what it is it's in the description and also if they want to purchase it the affiliate link is also there so that's how a lot of people are using Instagram influencer nowadays and this is actually converting like crazy also influencers can build hype on a product. 


So say I get say canon get a bunch of YouTubers photographers or whatever to advertise this 10 to 18-millimeter lens right if they do it enough there's gonna be hype over it because there's a lot of top dogs using this product and most people want to be like the top dogs so they're gonna get it too and this is gonna snowball and creep a huge hype on a product so that's also why a lot of people are opting to use real people to do influencer marketing. 


So can you still use theme pages yes you can still use it I know I kind of just shut them down because they ain't shit but you can still use a theme page you just have to know what you're actually doing remember more people are watching youtube?

More people are aware of influencer marketing a lot of people are going to the steam page so the competition is kind of stiff and people aren't making their promos look like the type of post that those theme pages usually post see what you want to do is you want to make sure that your promo looks exactly like the post that's already in their feed so whenever their audience is scrolling though they don't pick up right away?
